Bancels' Benches.
The architecture blends so well into the landscape that the buildings seem to grow out of the ground.
No architectural creation can be independent of its environment, and the region is rich in construction
materials from granite and schist to various woods (chestnut, Douglas pine, etc.).
The work of Man thus complements a landscape modelled by nature.

The Bancels (a dialect word for the local terracing) of l'Oustaou have been laid out for various crops,
from orchards to vegetable gardens.
Benches and long chairs are set up throughout, and hammocks have been suspended from the cherry and chestnut
trees. There is also a swing for the little ones. For the more active, there is a ping-pong table in the shade
of a Mediterranean oak which dominates the valley.
From the terraces, while inhaling the fragrance of our flowers, you will be able to admire the surrounding valleys under the watchful Mont Lozčre.
